our
current exhibition
is an open exhibition which everyone is welcome to submit art to.
A portion of the money from sold artwork goes to cafe Kino, so by buying art you are supporting both a local artist, and us.
SUBMISSION DETAILS:
To enter, please bring your work in to the cafe. New work will be hung every week and all work must be for sale. All work submitted will be in the show for 8 weeks (unless sold).
The submission fee is 5 pounds for up to 3 works, and Kino will take 20% of the selling price as commission.
All work must be clearly labelled with the title and artist’s name and ready to hang on a picture hook or nail.
The size limit is 36 x 40 cm.
All exhibition admin is done on a Tuesday. When you submit a piece of work, it will be hung the next Tuesday. You will be informed by email when any unsold work is ready to be collected (after 8 weeks) on a Tuesday. You will be informed of any sales the Tuesday after purchase.

Window Installation Showcase of Local Artists at Cafe Kino
As part of the Cafe Kino Continuous Open Submission Art Show, local artists have been invited to install work in the cafe window.
The series starts with illustrator Louise Cunningham exhibiting during June (www.louisecunningham.co.uk), and will feature 4 other artists over the coming months. These are Estelle Brown, Neil Peacock, Jessica Ackerman, and Louise Phillips.
The window installations will include a broad range of work, from illustration to printmaking and sculpture, reflecting the exciting diversity of the work on show in the café’s exhibition.
