Cafe
Kino is a not-for-profit, and completely unfunded, arts space.
We are committed to supporting DIY arts and grassroots activism, and aim
to work with promoters, groups, organisations, and individuals who share
the qualities, outlooks and values that are important to us.
The events side of Cafe Kino (as well as other areas of the co-op) rely
heavily on the voluntary time and effort given by our staff, who work
hard to bring you a programme that we are very proud of.

ACCESSIBILITY
We are proud to be an all-ages venue. There are no age restrictions on
any events at Cafe Kino unless otherwise stated.
The main entrance to the cafe is step-free and on the ground floor. However,
most events take place in the basement area. Unfortunately, due to building
restrictions, this space is only accessible by
stairs.

The BRISTOL COMIC AND ZINE FAIR returns for a second year to celebrate
the world of DIY publishing!
The Fair brings together a host of brilliant artists, writers and makers
from across Bristol and further afield for a one-day market. There'll
be self-published zines, homemade comics, handmade books, alternative
publications and all things in-between on offer.
Come along and meet creators, be inspired, and pick up great art and writing
at affordable prices!
Bear Pit Zines is an open forum for comic and zine artists
in the Bristol area, aimed at encouraging collaborative projects and strengthening
Bristol’s DIY arts/comix/zine culture. It is primarily a means for
Bristol-based comic-drawing, zine-making, folk to get together, share
ideas and opportunities, learn from each other and generally make new
friends. They meet on a semi-regular basis in Bristol for drinks, conversation
and general sociable plotting.
